Hey families! As I sit here heading into the final few weeks of 2025, I'm reflecting on and celebrating some of the "wins" that our small group leaders have been sharing. Here's some of what has us praising Jesus over the past semester:
- this semester we've seen more students attending on average! Our group (and our church) is growing, and that translates to...
- more students showing up to small groups, with some groups showing perfect attendance, and students (not adult leaders) leading their group discussions!
- new students being invited by friends AND returning to youth group. It's a big deal to have a new person visit. It's an even bigger deal when that person returns and keeps coming back. We've had lots of new students call Dive "home" this year!
- students connecting throughout the week to pray for one another, share life, meet for Bible study, and reaching out to leaders for advice, mentoring, and discipleship opportunities! Sometimes those connections are in-person and sometimes they're via group chats. Either way, we love to see faith and relationships that go beyond Sunday!
As I look forward to 2026, we've got some great things to look forward to: a study of the book of Ephesians, Winter Retreat, the new youth room should be finished by June, and we've got Challenge Conference for our high school students in July!
