ONE NIGHT is a Wednesday Night Event that has one purpose- to bring ONE LIFE who doesn't know Jesus to ONE NIGHT at Elevate.
It will feature one of our favorite games which is Extreme Bingo along with Big Prizes, Passionate Worship, and a Powerful Message.
Encourage your student to bring one friend that night. If you can, even offer the friend a ride to church. Be in prayer for this night, as we are expecting God to do something BIG.
A recent survey shows that 7/10 people attend a church because they were invited by someone.
On March 17, the students of Elevate will go into communities surrounding the church and pass out invitations to our Easter Service.
Following the outreach, we will take the bus to Culvers for dinner. Please pack your student a lunch or send them with money to purchase dinner. ($10 per student is more than sufficient.)
Please complete THE ONLINE PERMISSION SLIP prior to the event.
Camp is right around the corner!
The cost this year is $250 per student. If needed, there will be many ways for your student to earn their money for camp.
Last year, we saw God move. This is the most important activity of the year for Elevate. I cannot encourage you enough to make your student go to camp. God will bless that faithfulness and I believe that God will move in your students heart that week.
Registration begins February 14th. If you register and pay by June 6th then it is only $225.

Dating Delilah is a study into the life of Samson and Delilah. It is a great reminder that our relationships matter and that both who we date and how we date is vital to our future.
This study is three weeks long and begins on February 7th.
I had a recent conversation with our Pastor, Vernon C Lyons. I wanted to ask him a question that I could pass along to you, the parents of Elevate.
Pastor Lyons just turned 90 years old. He has had several children of his own and many grandchildren. His immediate family number 80+! He has experienced and seen both good parenting and bad parenting.
I asked him a simple question: "If you could only give a parent one piece of advice about raising kids, what would it be?"
Without hesitation, Pastor Lyons responded, "Only say something once. Never say anything twice."
That was it. He didn't even explain what he meant, so I asked, "What does that mean?"
He said, "Well, when you say something a second time, then it means you didn't really mean it the first time. This sets your child up for failure."
So this is the message I wanted to pass along to you- Never say anything twice.
When your child asks to do something, and you say "NO", don't answer again and certainly don't change your mind. When you ask them to take out the trash, only do it once. When you tell them to put away their phone, don't say it twice.
I believe that if we teach our children that obedience is immediate, then we set them up for success.
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." -Proverbs 22:6
