D-Now Recap
We had a great Disciple-Now this past weekend. Overall we had 105 middle school and high school students, 16 college leaders, and 10 host homes. Our students studied the theme "SENT" which focused on Christ's commission to his followers before his ascension. Students were encouraged to be sent on mission at their school, jobs, teams, neighborhood, and everywhere they go to share the gospel.

We were led in worship by More Than This from Gadsden, AL and our speaker was Cody Hale from Iron City Baptist Church in Anniston, AL. Students competed in Olympic Games Saturday afternoon with events like the skeleton, bobsled, and curling. In the evenings and mornings our college leaders led our students in small group time.

All in all it was a great weekend! Please be in prayer for our students as the continue to process the weekend, and conversations are had pertaining to decisions. I want to say thank you to every adult who made this weekend possible. These events are not possible without you!
Upcoming Events
Guys and Girls Bible Study
April 26:00 PMLOCATION: 329 Dogwood Trail, Alabaster 35007
We will have guys and girls Bible Study at the Cornutt's house starting April 2nd. They will be on Monday nights at 6:00 PM and are open to all 7th-12th grade girls. We will provide light snacks and drinks for everyone.

Guys will be led by Jared through the study "Be a Man" and girls will be led by Kandace who will study "Rachel and Leah: What Two Sisters Teach Us about Combating Comparison.:
Unite Worship Service
April 116:30LOCATION: Westwood Baptist Church
On Wednesday April 11th all local student ministries will be gathering at Westwood Baptist Church for worship. Our students will meet at the FBCA Family Life Center at 5:50pm and depart at 6:00pm. Concluding worship we will come back to the Family Life Center for students to be picked back up.
Guys Night/Girls Night
April 27
Guys:

The guys will be going to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and then going to the 7:30 showing of "Avengers: Infinity War." Guys need $12 for their movie ticket and money for Buffalo Wild Wingd as well. Space is limited to the amount of tickets we are able to order.

FUGE 2018
June 18 - June 22LOCATION: Carson-Newman University
Every summer the student ministry at FBC attends FUGE Camps. The High School students will participate in M-FUGE which has a missions emphasis. Students will have Bible Study led by trained college leader, and go to missions sites in the community. They will come back to campus each afternoon for hang-time, worship, and church group time.

Middle School students will be participating in Centrifuge at the same location. Instead of going to missions sites these students will have Recreation and Track Times which compliment the Bible Study time and worship times. They likewise will come together with out M-FUGE students for hand-time, worship, and church group time.

Current Series
This Wednesday (March 21st) we will wrap our three week series from Luke 15, "Lost & Found." This week will be looking at the younger brother in the story of the Lost Son and how it applies to us today. Hope to sere your student at 6:30!
