Attached you will find a link to the Fuge Camp parent packet that has all the important camp information you will ever need. I need to make you aware of several important dates:
First and foremost is April 22nd, 2018- FINAL camp payments will be due by this date. Please remember if you have a friend or family member with a different last name making an online payment for your child please email me with the information ([email protected]).
Mega relay bags!!!
You can secure your very own MEGA Bag by pre-ordering now! In your MEGA Bag, you’ll find everything you need for Mega Relay bundled together for one low price. The theme for this summer’s Mega Relay is “1970’s Retro.” Contents include a t-shirt, water bottle, buff, socks, and the bag to hold it all! This can all be yours for one low price of $35, a savings of $12. You can’t beat this deal. NOTE: The MEGA Bag is NOT required for participation in Mega Relay.
Here’s how to pre-order camp store cards and mega bags:
1. Print o the order form below and hand out to parents.
2. Turn in the pre-order form for MEGA Bags and Camp Store Cards to the Group Leader by May 20. Group Leaders will submit the entire youth group order by May 27. All orders at camp are on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
3. Parents will pay the Group Leader prior to leaving for camp or upon turning in their form.
4. The Group Leader will make one payment for ALL pre-ordered bags and camp store cards at the FUGE Store.
5. Group Leaders will be given MEGA Bags and any camp store cards.
We have had parents ask in the past about camp store cards. It's your money and I don't want to tell you what to do, but I will say, if you put money on a camp store card and they don't spend the money, it's effectively useless after camp. All camp stores take cash and credit cards. As for Mega Relay bags, I will be taking these pre-orders with our final payment on April 22nd, 2018! The cost for the relay bag is $35.00. This year's Mega Relay theme is 70's Retro! Yes, some of you can ask your parents for some of their old "gear" to use at FUGE!
In the parent handout, you will find all the required information you need such as what to bring, what not to bring, what to expect, etc...
Once at camp we will take student's cellphones. We have learned over the past few years that allowing our students to "disconnect" from the world while being saturated by the WORD yields the best camp experience. My phone number is attached to this email and I will send out a full list of counselors and their phone numbers once we get closer to camp. I will also be sending a Save the Date for a parent camp meeting.
