In December I find myself getting choked up more than normal. Sometimes it happens as I think on the gift of Christ coming as a baby, and other times it can come as I feel a nagging anxiety of family, gifts, finances, ministry, changing my children's diapers, taking out the trash in the freezing cold, driving to a bazillion Christmas celebrations, sending Christmas cards, getting my children to stop eating their boogers, and..... you get the picture! :) But, somewhere in the chaos, are precious times of worship, fellowship, giving, and remembering. Most importantly, we do remember the astounding fact that the Creator and Sustainer of the world (God, Himself) stepped down into our chaos in an unmatched display of Love, Grace, and Justice!
Happy New Year!
