Director of Student Ministries & Community Engagement
This event allows many students who may not have the opportunity to experience a mission trip to do so. Students earn money toward missions based on hours served at the car show. Also its a great time and fun for the whole family.
Get connected with local parents and individuals. We have two groups starting in February, check out the video and see what works best for you.
BeachHouse student missions team was able to partner with the Satellite Beach fire Department to meet the needs of many families and individuals this holiday season.
The BeachHouse Band and student mission team partnered with the city of satellite beach to host a Christmas movie night and caroling for over 150 individuals in our community.
(Masks required and provided) Riptide is the Wednesday night program at the BeachHouse for 7th- 12 graders. Riptide is an engaging night of food, hangout, games, message, and small groups.
Over the next 4 weeks we will be asking questions like,
"What is a soul?"
"Why is my soul important?"
"How should I take care of my soul?"
"How does my soul impact people around me?"
Week 1: Sabbath
God created you to be with Him, and your soul will only find rest in Him.
Week 2: Ownership
A healthy soul requires work.
Week 3: Unity
Healthy relationships keep our souls healthy.
Week 4: Limits
Your soul cannot be healthy outside of God’s limits.
Does it pair well with the movie "Soul?" from Pixar? Absolutely. If your student has watched the movie this series can bring a more clear, biblical, perspective to their soul. It also has nothing to do with the movie except the soul piece.
Dive is our Sunday morning meeting. Come hangout and enjoy free coffee and doughnut bar then transition into worship and message.
WHEN LIFE HURTS
Life is messy. Life is hard. These are realities we all—including (and especially) students—are faced with every day. And as followers of Jesus, we sometimes (me included) do a poor job of admitting this. We often feel pressured to pretend life is good all the time. But what if it isn't? What if our pretending is keeping us from being real with God and experiencing His grace in the midst of difficult seasons?
The reality is, the Bible does not teach us to pretend like life is happy and easy all the time. In fact, there is a whole book in the Bible called Lamentations. We will wrestle with what it has to teach us about responding to tough times in life.
over the next 4 weeks we will be discussing:
Week 1: Let's be Real (Lamentations 1)
Week 2: Pour Out Your Heart Before God (Lamentations 2)
Week 3: A Reminder of Hope … (Lamentations 3)
Week 4: … But Still, Life Is Messy (Lamentations 4-5)
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
