We had a great time at our Middle School Day O' Fun on Saturday! Our high school leaders did an incredible job leading the day for us. We kicked off the day with a Zumba class to start on an energetic note, and then we headed out for SkyZone for our first stop. From there we went to my house where my parents cooked us a taco lunch, and we completed our service project called "The Art of Encouragement". The students created notes of encouragement for people in their day-to-day lives, and also for strangers, which we took to North Point Mall and spread around the mall. Our last stop outside the church was Urban Escape Games - we were 1 step away from escaping! After that we headed back to the church for small group time, a church scavenger hunt, dinner, a prayer walk, Minute to Win It games, and our leaders concluded the night by washing the middle schoolers' feet and praying over them. It was a wonderful day of fellowship and spiritual growth for all! A HUGE shout out to Cheryl Dilworth and to Grant Butler for helping out and driving the bus! Couldn't have done it without you!
