Hey Dive!
Sometimes the Bible teaches some pretty radical things. What do we do when we encounter tough teachings or commands? Do we avoid or skip over them? NO WAY! We lean into them. This week, we've got one of these Tough Talks - called “Love Your Enemies,” which will look at Jesus’ teaching found in Matthew 5:43-48. During His famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus raised the bar for His followers by saying that they should love not only their neighbors but also their enemies. We want these tough talks to lead us to a deeper awareness of who Jesus is and what it means to follow His command to love others in the same way that God loves us.
