Crossroads Graduation Info Newsletter

It's hard to believe, but high school graduation is just around the corner! As a church we want to take the opportunity to celebrate with and recognize our seniors. In this newsletter, you can find all the info about how we plan to do that at Crossroads this year as well as what's next for grads at Crossroads.

This year's plans include 3 components for graduating seniors: The Senior Video, Senior Night at Dive Student Ministry, and Grad Recognition Sunday. You can find more details about each below.

 - Pastor Rich

We're asking each graduating senior to record and submit a 30-60 second video with the following:

1. Introduce yourself.

2. Share where you're graduating from.

3. Share what your post-high school plans are.

4. Share something the Lord has taught or showed you during High School that you will maintain going forward (ie, the Lord showed me the importance of serving, or the Lord really used my small group/friend group to help me grow my faith, etc.)

Make sure you have good lighting and speak clearly for the best video quality!

Upload your video to the cloud or another file sharing service and then share your video with Pastor Rich by emailing or texting him the link at [email protected] or 574-540-6736.

Our annual Senior Night is May 17th. We'll celebrate, remember, and share together! Dive seniors, make sure to join us!

We're recognizing graduating seniors during Crossroads' Sunday morning service on May 17 and we’d love the opportunity to highlight all of our wonderful seniors. Want to be recognized on Graduation Sunday? We need some info from you! Submissions are due by Sunday, May 10.

Will you be planning to have a public graduation party or open house? Do you want to invite your Crossroads church family? If you're planning on a public open house and want to share with the rest of the church (even if it's delayed until later in the summer), make sure to include that information when you submit your senior info.

Graduation season brings a lot of changes! Here's what you can expect at Crossroads:

1. You're still a part of Dive all throughout the summer. You're invited to every summer event, Bible study, and gathering until the end of July.

2. You'll start hearing about and being invited to Crossroads Young Adults group. They'll host events periodically throughout the year. CYA is a great place to get connect whether you're sticking around the Plymouth area or even if you just need a place to connect when you're home on break from school. Be on the lookout for a CYA event near the end of June. Details will come through the church app and Dive will share info too.

3. You can attend Dive and CYA over the summer. Attending CYA events doesn't mean you're "kicked out" of youth group!

4. Even after you graduate and move onto your next phase of college, career, military service, gap year, etc., you're still part of our lives! You're welcome to come back and visit Dive or call, text, or grab lunch or coffee with your small group leaders. We'd love to stay connected with you so that we can pray for, support, and encourage you!
