Thank You to Our VBS Volunteers!
VBS Volunteer Leaders: Thank you so much for helping with our “In the Wild” VBS this year by praying, planning, participating, decorating and preparing meals. Every year I am amazed at the various personalities, passions, talents and gifts that come together to make our VBS happen. God called you, you responded, and God blessed your efforts and energy. What impresses me ever more is that we have so many people in our church who love Jesus, love children, and are willing to work very hard to ensure the children get to experience the love of Christ. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Our final Count was 132 volunteers for VBS. We averaged about 150 kids a night. That’s almost 1 volunteer for each child. It is such a huge honor and privilege to serve at a church that recognizes the importance of teaching truth and showing love to our next generation, and is willing to put in the time, effort, and energy to make it happen. I am very humbled to serve with you and beaming with pride in the job Summit Community Church does for the children in our church and our community. Where ever you served and whatever your job was this summer, you laid the foundation for pint-sized disciples of Christ who will grow and do amazing things for our Lord and Savior.
Thank you, I love you,
Dwight Winters
