Weekly Update: February 17-23, 2025
We missed you last Wednesday! We are back this week and we can't wait to see you, bring a Bible and invite a friend! We have a great series about God, love, and relationships. It isn't all about romance, relationships and love are so much more than that! Invite a friend and don't miss this important series on Wednesday Nights. On Wednesdays, students can earn points by bringing their physical Bibles, bringing a friend, and saying their memory verse. We hope to see you here this Wednesday, 7-8:30pm. We will monitor the weather and send out an email update on Wednesday just to confirm our Midweek plans. As a reminder, we have a texting services that you can opt in to for free : text the word "students" to (443) 888-3130.
This Sunday, February 23rd at 12:30pm, is a special new opportunity called "Student Leader Team". This is an opportunity for students who want to grow deeper in their faith and grow as leaders in the church. The team will assemble on the fourth Sunday of the month for some food, Bible study, leadership development, and more. Students who join this team and regularly active in it will be more likely to receive Severn Run internships, increase leadership capacities at the church, receive special recommendations and references from the church, and more. If you are interested in joining us, we will meet upstairs in Room 212 from 12:30-2pm.

1) MIDWEEK - WEDNESDAY NIGHT : FEB 19, 2025 @ 7-8:30pm - All 6th-12th grade students are welcome to join us on Wednesday Nights to experience fun, worship, Bible teaching, small groups, and more! 2) BIBLE READING PLAN : FEB 9, 2025 - Pastor Drew will begin a 21 Day Prayer series starting this Sunday, February 9th. It is not too late to join us! Our church will be inviting everyone to do a 21 day devotional on the YouVersion Bible App as well, you can go to our Prayer Page to learn more and join a Bible Reading Plan with us.
3) MIDDLE SCHOOL WORSHIP : FEB 23, 2025 @ 9:30am & 11am - All 6th-8th graders are invited to worship in our main services and join us upstairs in Room 212 for our Middle School Worship Experience. Join us for a time of Bible study and fellowship for all middle school students.

5) THE BIG EVENT : APRIL 26, 2025 @ Wonderfly Arena (Arbutus, MD) - The BIG Event is an awesome opportunity for middle school and high school students to enjoy a uniquely exciting experience on Saturday, April 26th from 4pm-6:30pm. The event will be hosted at Wonderfly Arena in Arbutus, where students can enjoy pizza, human hamster balls, glow in the dark dodgeball, 9 square, basketball, worship, a Gospel message and more! There will be prizes and great opportunities to have fun and make awesome memories. 6) 2025 SUMMER CAMP: JUNE 27 - JULY 1, 2025 - We are so excited to be going back to Skycroft for their Summer Camp experience! It will be open to all 6th-12th grade students and it is an experience that you do not want to miss. This is an incredible opportunity for students to grow in their faith, build friendships, and have a wonderful adventure. Friends are welcome, you do not have to be a current or active member of our students ministry - this is a great opportunity for new students to experience connection and community in Christ. Summer Camp offers daily activities like bazooka ball, high ropes course, zip lining, swimming pool, basketball, water slide, team games, and more. Registration is NOW OPEN!!!
