Here at Kingsland, we believe the home is the primary place for faith to be developed. During this time when we are not meeting on campus, we want to equip you as the primary faith trainer in your home.

Access Faith Talks For Your Family

Read This: Jeremiah 1:1-10

Discuss This:

· What did the old covenant require? (animal sacrifice)

· What would make the new covenant so good? (God will write the law on people's hearts and forgive their sins)

· Who fulfilled the promised new covenant? How did He do that? (Jesus came as a once and for all sacrifice for the sins of the people that love Him and follow Him)

Do This:

Read This: John 14:22-29

Discuss This:

· What do you know about the current “storm” our country is facing and what are your thoughts?

· Who do we say God is in the midst of this current “storm?” Why is that important?

· How do you think Jesus would want our family to respond during this crisis?

· In past “storms”, how have you specifically seen God work in your life or our family’s life? What could be our family’s “bold” testimony?

· How could God work through the midst of this “storm?”

· How can we use this “storm” as an opportunity to refocus our family on Jesus?

· Pray together specifically for families by name and countries affected by the COVID-19 virus.

· Check on your neighbors and community. Go door to door and/or make phone calls with your kids.

· How have you heard “judge not lest ye be judged” misused? What do people think it means? What is wrong with thinking this way?

· What does condemnation mean? What is the difference between judging the way Jesus wants and condemning?

· How do people misuse the term hypocrite? What does it really mean? How does hypocrisy keep us from judging like Jesus wants?

· Why do we miss or excuse the log in our own eye? How can we get help seeing our blind spots?

· What does the whole passage about pearl and swine mean? Have you ever experienced “casting your pearls before swine”? How can we make sure we don’t act like swine when offered the pearls of truth?
