Summer News 2026

Join us on GBC's front lawn for some food, fun, and friends. We will have hot dogs, chips, drinks, and cookies. 

We will play some field games and spend time hanging out together. 

Join us at a private ski club to swim, paddleboard, and water tube. Food will be provided. Come dressed in appropriate swimwear, bring a towel, and sunscreen.

Join us on GBC's front lawn for a water war, worship, and a time in the Word. 

Our Mystery Missions come from the words of Jesus in Matt 6:3 
 
"But when you give to the poor, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."
 
The idea for these missions is that we are going to SHOW UP and head out to serve. 
 
Typically, these Mystery Missions will allow students to engage in community service projects and evangelism. They will NOT know what they are going to do beforehand, but will know they will be in the community serving, meeting needs, and spreading hope.

Hunger Games is an interactive battle game that includes Nerf guns, LARPing arrows, foam noodles, foam swords,  training tennis balls, and unique tactical and puzzle-solving strategies.  The game itself will be used as a living illustration to teach spiritual truth. 
 
We will provide food & drinks for students who participate.  Cost is $5 to help with food purchasing. 
 
Students who have Nerf equipment should bring it and make sure it is labeled.

We will be baptizing people at Portage Lakes State Park on the beach. After the baptisms conclude, we will provide a cookout (hamburgers & hot dogs) and spend some time hanging out in the state park.
