We are so excited to announce a brand new Bible Study and Gathering for our middle school girls. This will be a time for the girls to catch up, discuss what we learned from our book, and to grow in our relationships with each other, but most importantly, with our great and amazing God.
Girls can get dressed up or come in their pjs, and we will provide snacky breakfast items (donuts, yogurt, orange juice, and chocolate milk to name a few). We are very excited to pour into the girls and see their relationships with Christ grow and become their own. Please be sure to wear a mask!

What is Mix?
Held on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University, Mix is a four-day conference designed specifically for incoming 6th - 8th grade students with incredible speakers, worship, and fun that all mix together to place students on a spiritual mountain top with God. Alongside their friends and adult spiritual mentor, students experience both large group gatherings and time with their missional groups in order to help them take next steps in their faith.

Registration Details
Total cost is $325.
A $65 nonrefundable deposit is due by February, 21, 2021, with the remaining balance being due by June 6th.

Scholarships
We do not want finances to stand in the way of a student attending! While we do ask families to cover what portion they can afford, we do offer scholarships to ensure every student has the opportunity to go.
If you would like to register but need financial assistance, please go to bdcc.org/scholarships and fill out the scholarship application. After completing the application, you will be contacted by the church office with confirmation within 3 business days and will then be able to register.

Parent FAQ’s
What kind of supervision will there be on the trip?
We take adult leaders who have been thoroughly vetted and completed background checks. Most leaders are those who have mentored the students throughout the year. Ratios are generally no more than 1:6.
How do you keep track of each student?
Students are assigned to a room and group with a leader who is responsible for them. Attendance is accounted for every time the group goes to a worship session or activity. The vast majority of the time, students are with the group and leaders.
What type of transportation do you use?
We take the church van and bus. All drivers have completed vehicle background checks.
How do you determine rooming assignments?
During the registration process, you will express roommate preferences. Our goal is for every student to be in a room with at least one friend.
What do students need to bring on the trip?
Once registered, the trip coordinator will send you detailed information as the trip gets closer, including any packing instructions.

Current Elevate Series
When we become a follower of Jesus, Jesus becomes King of our life, and we are adopted as the King’s sons and daughters. We not only become citizens of the Kingdom of God, but we are also Kingdom ambassadors. It is our calling to embody, represent, and spread the Kingdom everywhere we go.
Jesus’ life and teachings not only outline what it means to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God, but they also inspire and motivate us to create the Kingdom of heaven on earth. That is what this series is about ~ discovering what it means to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God, and living out that calling in such a way as to continue to spread the Kingdom of God on earth.
- Safety Precautions:
- Students/leaders should not attend if they have been in direct contact with someone who has been confirmed COVID-19 positive in the last two weeks or if they or their immediate family have any signs or symptoms of sickness (cough, runny nose, temperature, sore throat, etc.).
- Face coverings are required. (We have extra if you forget!)
- For most of our time together, students will socialize in their small groups, including while we are in the large group setting and when they dismiss for small group time. This will help to limit any possibility of "exposure" to a smaller number of students. (According to the CDC, exposure is defined as close contact [less than 6 feet] with someone for more than 15 minutes.)
- We will encourage social distancing, but as is the plan, we do intend to have fun and play games such as 9 square. During short periods of time, students will be less than 6 feet from one another or will handle common objects.
- When we meet in groups, we will meet in a circle with approximately a chair length between individuals. We do not envision being in a small group where there is always six feet between all individuals.
- We will provide hand sanitizer and encourage its use.
- If you have a confirmed positive test of COVID-19, and your symptoms occurred within 2 days (by Tuesday) of the time of our meeting, you should contact the church office at 317-241-3944.
- If a leader or student is confirmed to have COVID-19, we will contact all the students with whom they were "exposed." (Less than 6 feet for more than 15 minutes. See CDC guidelines.)
ZOOM OPTION
Due to the relational, spiritual, and emotional benefits of being with the church family at Elevate, we encourage our students to join us during our gatherings. However, we understand that some, due to their circumstance, prefer to remain cautious. With that in mind, we offer a couple of zoom groups for our students to stay connected and growing in their faith. We welcome any of our students to join them, even if they attend Elevate.
