Welcome to Lawndale
Student Ministry!
Our vision is making disciples who make disciples all for the glory of God.
Our strategy is The Disciple's Path:
Students are invited for a time of connecting with the church!
They will worship with the student band, hear a message from God's Word, and then break up into gender-based small groups for sermon discussion and discipleship. Optional hangouts afterwards.
This semester, we are walking through the book of Philippians.
Our hangout this week will be a food run to Battleground Chick-fil-a. Pickup at 9pm.
Students are invited for a time of learning the Bible!
They will be held accountable for personal quiet time and will learn how to study God's Word in a systematic way. There are Bible studies for middle school girls, middle school boys, high school girls, and high school boys. Optional hangouts afterwards.
This semester, we are walking through the book of 1 Corinthians.
There will be no study this week (12/10). Instead, we encourage you to come to the Voices of Experience choir special at 4pm. Students will then have a cookie swap afterwards at 5pm. Bring a plate of your favorite kind of cookies! Pickup at 6pm.
Students are invited for a time of growing in discipleship!
They will develop critical-thinking skills and tackle issues related to doctrine, apologetics, and cultural engagement. There is a class for middle school and a class for high school.
This week will be Advent Breakouts. There will be 5 classes students can choose from on a variety of topics to take over the Advent season.
