Wednesday night, we are going to look at Bible resources. I don't know about you, but for me, the Bible is a very long, hard to understand, and strange book. But, it's so good. It's full of the redemptive news that Jesus came to save us all. The goal for us is to see how we can seek out different resources to help us grow in our knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures. Please bring questions you may have because there will be a little bit of time to ask questions during the large group time about Bible resources.
Example Questions:
1) How do you know you can trust certain resources?
2) What's a good commentary to start with?
3) When do you know a resource isn't Biblically correct? Is it okay to still study?
We are looking forward to Wednesday night! Here's a little sneak peak to ponder until service:
"Biblical stories come to us preprogrammed. Part of learning how to read the Bible is both an unlearning and relearning what these texts have to say."
It's so good to be back and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!
Through His Grace,
Ben
