The school year has begun and with it comes the return of Wednesday youth group, youth Sunday mornings, and lots of fun events!
Youth group kicks off on Wednesday, September 7 with ice cream sundaes, games, student-led worship, a message on a key theme we'll have this year at youth group, and small group time so that students and leaders can hear about each other's summers.
Youth Sunday mornings will begin on September 11. Each Sunday from 9-10 am students will learn together the foundational beliefs of our faith in Jesus.
As some of you may not have heard, I will continue to serve as the interim youth pastor at CrossPoint this fall. This past spring and summer our search team worked diligently to find our new youth pastor. We did hire a new youth pastor in August but before arriving he made the decision to retract his decision to come for personal reasons. We will restart the search process in September to find the right person to lead the youth ministry. Please be praying over the process and for the right person for the position to be found in the next few months.
