Welcome all Middle and High School students!

The Weekend is a discipleship intensive Friday through Sunday event where students will engage in worship, biblical teaching from a guest speaker, community service and christian community. This will be a time where students will be challenged to take the next step in their faith journey as well as grow relationships with their group leaders and peers.

Students will be housed with their small group at assigned Graceland Member homes. (NOTE: All group hosts and leaders have completed background checks and Child Safety Training)

This year’s theme is Imitator! We will take a deep dive into Ephesians 5:1-2 talking through what it looks like to Imitate the life and love of Jesus.

Friday Evening Students will begin at Graceland for Worship and Teaching Session followed by transport to their host home to complete group time with their leader.

Saturday morning, students will be transported to the church after breakfast for worship, teaching, and lunch. The afternoon will be filled with service project awesomeness and fellowship with their group. They will get themselves cleaned up and eat dinner at their host home, and then return to the church.  Saturday evening will conclude with an additional teaching sessions,worship, and group time.

Sunday morning, students will attend church at 9am and the final session of THE WEEKEND at 10:30am in the Axis.

Will  is originally from Birmingham, AL, but grew up in Tennessee and Arkansas, and now lives in Texas! Will has been in student ministry since 2002 and has been leading worship since he was a teenager. He is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University and  Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Will is married to his lovely wife Elizabeth and has two children – Skylar and Emily. Will is passionate about connecting youth with Jesus and the local church and currently leads the ministry of First Priority of America in the Fort Worth area. 

Graceland Worship is the worship ministry of Graceland Church, a multisite church based in New Albany, IN. Graceland Worship is passionate about producing songs for the local church. Their main priority is to create an atmosphere of worship so people can encounter Jesus in a real and personal way.
