Spring is here! There are several things coming up in student ministry, and I want you to know about them! While we certainly love Pursuit on Wednesdays and Pursuit AM on Sundays, we want you and your families to feel connected on all levels, which includes a few awesome events outside of our regularly scheduled services. We can't wait to connect with you all this Spring season!

In the words of Harry Styles: “You know it’s not the same as it was.” We celebrate the Easter season with this four-week series on Jesus. Through His death on the cross, what used to be is no longer. From death to life, slavery to freedom, spiritual blindness to revelation, sinners to saints — nothing is the same with Jesus!
Our One Sheets are still a GREAT way to get your student into their Bibles, but they look a little different now. Instead of printing 1,500 sheets of paper each month, we now have BOOKMARKS! They're super easy to stick in your Bible and keep track of, and there's still a passage of reading assigned to each day. Grab one on Wednesdays or Sundays from our Pursuit table near the elevator and back door.
We LOVE hanging with your students outside of our regularly scheduled ministries. Not only is it fun, but a real connection happens when we're outside the walls of the church! With that being said, here are a few events that we are doing as a student ministry!
- Middle/High School Guys Paintball - Our guys are going PAINT BALLING! On Sunday, May 7th from 1-3:30 pm, we will be at Glory Rd Paintball! The cost is only $30. More information and registration are available at TeamChurch.com/events - REGISTER TODAY!
- High School Girls' Night - High School girls are all invited to participate in a GIRLS' NIGHT at Josalynn Petko's house on Sunday, April 23rd! Nail painting, face masks, and FUN! To RSVP, text Josalynn! If you need her number, feel free to reach out to me or have your HS girl reach out to their leader. It's going to be a blast!
- Junior / Senior Hike - Our juniors, seniors, and their leaders are going to Crowder's Mountain to hike! On Sunday, May 21st, our juniors and seniors are welcome to meet with their leaders at 12:30 (right after the second service) and head out to grab lunch, and then head to the mountain! It's a pretty simple out-and-back hike that's around four miles in total.
- Senior Night at Pursuit - May 31st will be our last Pursuit of the year, and we always love hearing wisdom and life lessons from our seniors. Parents of seniors are more than welcome at this event, as our seniors will participate in a Q and A from Brad about their memories at Pursuit.
All of these events are going to ROCK, and we can't wait to continue doing life with your student!
Unleash summer camp is upon us! The dates for camp this year are June 27 - July 1, and the cost is $380. With our incredible "Above and Beyond" year end gift, we are able to supplement the cost of busses to get to Bonclarken in order to help keep costs down. Summer camp is beyond special, and students need and crave these five days away from the world. Personally, I met the Lord Jesus at Unleash 10 years ago and He changed my life forever. I have seen many many many students have the same encounters with Jesus there. If your student has never been to summer camp, or if they've been six years in a row, I am promising you that your student will not want to miss this! Registration for Unleash opens on March 2nd at 12:00 am at TeamChurch.com/Events, and the first five registrants will get a little something something at Pursuit next week. I am more than happy to answer any and all questions that you may have about summer camp, but it is definitely the most impactful thing that we do as a student ministry. We look forward to having your students there!
