Monthly Kids Update: June
I am praying for you and your kids as they wrap up their current school year. I am so excited for all that is happening this summer. Please take a look at what is coming up:
1) BIBLE MEMORY VERSE: June 8 @ 9:30 am & 11:00 am - One of our values as a kids ministry is to store scripture in the hearts of our kids. Our elementary age kids will have an opportunity to recite the memory verse on the 11th for a prize. The verse is 1 Corinthians 12:12 NLT.
2) VBS 2025: June 23-26 @ 6-8 pm- This year we are going to Live it Out where we will discover how to love like Jesus. VBS is for kids entering kindergarten through completed 5th grade. You can learn more with this link. You can also sign up to serve using this link. This is the fastest sign ups have gone, so Now is the time to sign up.
3) Sub with us in kids- As we head into Summer we are really wanting to grow our sub list to help support the leaders as many travel on vacations. Our sub team is critical part of helping make Sunday mornings the best experience possible. Subs sign up for one weekend and service a month. It is very flexible, and it is a great opportunity for you all to learn more about why we do as a kids ministry on Sunday mornings. You can sign up to join our sub team with this link.
4) Next Gen Sunday: June 29 @ 9:30 & 11:00 am-This June we have 5th Sunday meaning we will have a Next Gen Sunday. On 5th Sundays we do not offer elementary or student ministry and encourage them to worship with their families and serve in different ways. This Next Gen Sunday we will also spend some time celebrating VBS. You can use this link if your kid is interested in serving.
5) Promotion Weekend: August 24 @ 9:30 & 11:00 am- As we wrap up the school year the question that comes up a lot is when do my kids move up a grade level? Our promotion weekend will be on the 24th, so they will stay in the current rooms/areas until then. The only exception is the our two nursery rooms. More details will come as we get closer, but we wanted to remind you all about the date.
