Monthly Kids Update: April 2026
Here is what is coming up this month and beyond:
1) Easter Services-April 5- @ 9:30 am, 11:00 am, & 12:30 pm: We are so excited to celebrate Easter this weekend. We will have kids ministry (birth-4th grade) available for all three services. Students (5th-12 grade) are invited to join their families in worship. This is always our highest attended Sunday, so I would encourage you to attend the 12:30 pm to open up room for first time guest. Please also note that each room does have a capacity, so come early to early to ensure there is room for you. We always open up check in 15 minutes prior to service.
2) Memory Verse Sunday- April 12 @ 9:30 am & 11:00 am: One of our core values as a kids ministry is to see God's word in the hearts of your kids. Your elementary aged kids will have an opportunity to say the current unit memory verse for a prize. Our memory verse is Acts 1:8 NIV version.
3) Wonder Ink Parent Portal: We have really enjoyed teaching our new curriculum Wonder Ink to your kids. Wonder Ink explores four foundational truths : God Knows, Jesus Loves Me, The Holy Spirit Leads Me, and I am a Child of God. One unique feature we wanted to remind you about is the Wonder at Home resource. You are invited to join our online portal where you can do activities at home with your kids! 6) Sub with us in Kids Ministry: As we are in the middle of flu season having a sub team really helps support the team. Our sub team is a critical part of helping make Sunday mornings the best experience possible. Subs sign up for one weekend and service a month. It is very flexible, and it is a great opportunity for you all to learn more about what we do as a kids ministry on Sunday mornings. You can sign up to join our sub team with this link.
7) Serve with us in Kids Ministry: We are always looking for more people to join the team. This is a great opportunity to get connected, and to learn more about how to disciple your kids. If you are interested in learning more about serving in kids ministry you can sign up for a kids training using this link.
8) Join the set up teams: One team I am wanting to grow is the team to help me set up rooms on Sunday. I am looking for couple of people to serve kids ministry by coming in during the week to help set up the kids space. This is a great opportunity to serve during the weekday, and it can be something you do as a family. If you are interested in learning more please email [email protected]
