Monthly Kids Update : November
I cannot believe that we are in November. I know many of our schedules are very full this time of the year, so I wanted to share what is happening this holiday season.
1) BIBLE MEMORY VERSE - November 17 @ 9:30 am & 11:00 am - One of our values as a kids ministry is to store scripture in the hearts of our kids. Our elementary age kids will have an opportunity to recite the memory verse on the 17th for a prize. The verse is Deuteronomy 18:15 CSB.
2) Advent Blocks- We believe that the home is the first mission field for every parent/guardian, so we want to provide you all a unique way to create a home worship/bible study experience at home. This year we will be selling a limited supplies of Goodkind's Advent Blocks that you all can use to help teach your kids what Christmas is all about. This an amazing resource to begin to develop a home worship rhythm. We will be selling them at the gear shop for very soon. You can learn more about the Advent Blocks by checking out this video.
3) Kids Choir-December 15 @ 9:30 am & 11:00 am services. Our next Kids Choir Opportunity will be happening on December 15th. There will be two rehearsals on December 1st and 8th. Anyone who wants to participate must come to at least one of the rehearsals. You can learn more and sign up with this link.
4) Christmas Eve-December 24 @ 2:00 pm, 3:30 pm, 5:00 pm- We will be offering three Christmas Eve Services this year. This is a family friendly service, so we will not be offering elementary for any of those services. We are looking for people to serve in kids ministry for those services. 5) Next Gen Sunday - December 29 @9:30 am & 11:00 am-The 29th of December is a Next Gen Sunday meaning kids will have an opportunity to worship with their families as well as serve. We will not be offering elementary that Sunday. More details will come as we get closer to this date.
6) Sub with us in kids- As we enter into the holiday season and the beginning of next year one of the biggest things I want to grow is our sub team. Our sub team is critical part of helping make Sunday mornings the best experience possible. Subs sign up for one weekend and service a month. It is very flexible, and it is a great opportunity for you all to learn more about why we do as a kids ministry on Sunday mornings. You can sign up to join our serving team with this link.
