February 2025 Newsletter

Join us each Wednesday evening for Refuge Bible Study!  We will worship together before hearing a message from God's Word.  Afterwards, students can enjoy snacks in Common Grounds while playing foosball, ping pong, or carpet ball on the Third Floor, or spend time playing in the MAC Gym until 8:00 PM.  Be sure to bring a friend!

Deeper is our Sunday night Discipleship classes. These take place on campus from 4-5pm. Dive In is for our middle school students grades 6-8. There is a large group lesson followed by small groups. Soul Sisters and Paul & Timothy are for our high schoolers grades 9-12. There is a group lesson with a video followed by either a small group discussion or meeting with a one-on-one mentor.

Join us February 11 for our Super Sunday Rally. All Student Ministry Sunday School classes are meeting together in Mainstage for a Special football themed event hosted by Mike and Preston. Come test your bible knowledge as we go deep with our questions. Breakfast will be provided.

All Sunday evening activities are happening at their usual times. Deeper 4-5 PM and Choir 5-6 PM. 

Our Senior ladies are hosting a GALentine's Day Brunch for all the girls in our Student Ministry. There will be food, crafts, fun, and fellowship. Come join us and get to know our senior girls better!

We will meet at the MAC and travel by bus to the conference. We will leave from and return to the MAC on both days. This is NOT an overnight trip. Cost is $65. Limited spots available. Sign up here!

Join us in the Worship Center on February 23 from 4-6 pm for our first meeting of Parent University!  Parent U equips parents and grandparents of babies–young adults to be the chief disciple makers in their homes. We offer resources, trainings, and more as we come alongside you in raising your children in Biblical Truth. Our first guest is author and Next Gen catalyst for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, Board, Chris Trent, and his wife Wendy. They’ll lead two sessions, The Anxious Generation and Staying Connected in an Overly Connected World.

We will be staying at the Melody Lane Christian Renewal Center in Palmview, TX.  With the help of Buckner Family Hope Centers, we will be doing construction to provide homes for families to have access to a safe and healthy home. Also, we will be running a Vacation Bible School for the kids in the Valley who will also be on Spring Break.
