In March, a handful of our students took big steps of faith by being baptized or sharing about their faith in our Student Speaker Series at Meet in the Middle! I'm confident we'll see even more of that in April!

With April comes Spring Break and Easter, so our schedule looks a little different than usual. Next week, April 9th, we have no Groups but a few special events, including a service opportunity! We also will not have The Gathering on Easter Sunday (April 20th), but we invite you all as a family to join us at one of our three Easter Services (7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, and 10:45 AM).

Lastly, Summer Camp is on the horizon, and we have our Summer Camp Blitz on a Wednesday this year! Join us on the 16th at 5:00 PM (before Groups) for your first and best chance to sign up for Summer Camp!\

Check out our April-June 2025 Calendar!

The Gathering is for 6th-12th grade students. We gather to worship together, take a look at God’s word, and have some fun! The Gathering is a great place to get to know God and meet some new people. Join us on Sunday mornings during the 9:00 AM service in the High School Room (on the northwest side of the campus).

The Gathering will happen every Sunday in April except Sunday, April 20th for Easter!

Join us in the Worship Center for Easter service at 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:45 AM

The Gathering at a Glance —

We will continue our series, In the Shadows until Easter. The series is called In the Shadows, and it's all about questions and doubts. This has been a powerful series so far and we're looking forward to the next two weeks where we'll explore what can happen when we've lost hope and how we can ask God to surprise us. And we'll see how even when the shadows make it feel like God's not listening, we don't stop praying.

Questions to ask your student this week:  

Why do you think it is easier sometimes to keep lower expectations than to hope for something?  

What is the difference between believing everything is possible with God and expecting God to do the impossible?

Have you experienced both real disappointment and real hope in God?

Have you ever been surprised by God?

How can you make yourself ready to see a surprise from God this week? 

Sunday, April 13th - In the Shadows, Week 4

Questions to ask your student this week: 

How can you tell someone is listening to you?

How do you know they aren't?

What's difficult about feeling like God isn't listening to you? 

Read Ephesians 6:18 

Why do you think Hannah took her frustration and disappointment to God?

Where do you usually go when you feel that way?

What's one way you can approach prayer this week not to get what you want but to grow your trust in God? 

The Gathering at a Glance —

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth and started writing the most incredible story. It's not a story meant to be put away on a shelf somewhere, but it's one we're meant to explore and experience because we're deeply connected to it. God created a role for each of us to play.

This 4-week series is a perfect follow-up to Easter as it will allow us to take a look at the story of God as we learn more about our lives and our roles within it. We'll see that God is writing a good story, how sin isn't the end of the story, the way Jesus can rewrite our stories, and that we can be part of God's story.

Sunday, April 27th - More to the Story, Week 1

Questions to ask your student this week: 

What does the Bible opening with Genesis the way it does tell you about God and his character?

Why do you think the word "good" is used repeatedly in the story of creation instead of "perfect"?

What is happening in your life that makes it challenging to think of God's goodness being bigger and stronger than the difficulties you face?

What things can you look at or be reminded of that point to God's goodness?

Read Psalm 27:13

How does this verse encourage you about the goodness of God even among difficult things?

Do you think you can believe God is writing a good story, and it doesn't always feel that way?

What are Groups?

Groups will meet every Wednesday in April except April 9th (Spring Break)!

Real Relationships - 

Groups are where students cultivate real relationships with God, each other, and our leaders. It’s out of these relationships that purposeful conversations, life change, and discipleship can happen.

Tangible Truth - 

Together, we dig into God’s Word, and through purposeful conversation, we make its truth tangible. Groups are where students wrestle tough topics, study scripture, and pray together, all in pursuit of growing with God.
