Holy Week: Palm Sunday - Easter Sunday
I wanted to share with you this excellent resource that helps us walk through that final week of Jesus' life as we reflect on what He did for us through His life, death and resurrection. It is a daily reading plan that walks us through this time in Jesus' life according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
This week will look a little different than normal, so be sure to check out the details below.
Wednesday April 16th: Following dinner, we will be joining the church in an all congregation worship service. This service will run from 6:30-7:30p and we will dismiss following the service. ChainBreakers will be rehearsing following that service for our student led Sunrise Service.
Wednesday Night Flow:
5:15-6:30p Dinner (Fried/Baked Chicken, Potatoes, Green Beans, Rice Krispies)
6:30-7:30p All Church Worship Service
7:30p: Student Pickup
7:30-8:30p ChainBreaker Rehearsal
Thursday, April 17th, Maundy Thursday Service: We will gather from 6:30-7:30p for our Maundy Thursday communion service. We will dismiss following the service.
Friday, April 18th, Good Friday Service: We will gather from 6:30-7:30p for our Good Friday service where we will remember the death of Jesus Christ. Following that service the student ministry will take over the church from 7:30-9p for a Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt. Details below, please make sure your student is signed up if they are planning on attending this event.
Sunday, April 20th, Easter Sunday Service: We have three services this day. Our student led service at 7a, our traditional worship at 8:30a, and our contemporary worship at 10:30a. One of our seniors, Harper Smedshammer, will be sharing with us that morning from the Gospel of John chapter 20. ChainBreakers will be leading us in worship. We will have students helping throughout the service. ChainBreakers: We will need to arrive no later than 6:30a for a quick soundcheck.
Sunday Night Student Gathering: Because it is Easter Sunday, we will not be gathering that night. Enjoy your time with your friends, family, and loved ones as you celebrate the risen Christ!
