SERIES SUMMARY
This series helps middle schoolers understand that purpose is not something they have to wait until adulthood to discover. Over four weeks, students will explore what Scripture teaches about hearing God’s voice, recognizing the unique way God made them, building habits and character, and trusting that God can use them right now.
Middle schoolers often wonder who they are, why they matter, what they’re good at, and whether their life can make a difference. This series gives them a biblical framework for those questions. Students will learn that purpose begins with listening to God, grows as they pay attention to how God wired them, develops through faithful choices, and shows up in the way they influence the people already around them.
The goal of this series is not for students to leave with their entire future figured out. The goal is for them to believe that their life matters to God, that they were made intentionally, and that their purpose can begin with one faithful step today.

Over this past year, the First Priority Organization has specifically targeted South Texas and the San Antonio area to implement their nationally known evangelism strategy. As the San Antonio Director, Patrick Mankin, is currently taking steps to help begin First Priority Clubs in the New Braunfels and Boerne areas.
What First Priority Does:
First Priority helps students reach students with the hope of Jesus on their middle and high school campuses. Through student-led clubs and partnerships with local churches, we equip and encourage students to boldly live out and share their faith with their classmates.
Students reaching students. Churches working together. The hope of Christ on every campus.
There are several ways you can be part of what God is doing through First Priority at Oakwood Church.
Oakwood Church has an opportunity to help support what God is doing in our local schools. Whether through prayer, volunteering, financial support, or simply learning more, there’s a place for you to get involved with First Priority and your students.
Together, we can help bring the hope of Christ to every student.
