Check out the Backstage Experience Sunday School Class this year
What is the Backstage Experience Class?
Backstage Experience is a sensory classroom providing an opportunity for participants to learn the same Bible lessons as all other youth in a calming and supportive environment which minimizes sensory overload and maximizes focus and learning. We provide a variety of sensory tools, work to meet the changing needs of students, and adjust activities based on each student's preferences and sensitivities. For example, several centers (crafts, manipulatives, science experiments, etc.) supporting the Bible concept being taught are set up each Sunday. Students choose the activities and teachers discuss the ways those activities apply to the concept being taught with emphasis on daily life application of the concept. Let us know if you would be interested in giving this classroom experience a try!
