Details:           Join us for an At-home DNow weekend filled with worship, Bible study, great guest Bible study leaders, awesome host families, service projects, and hanging out with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Wednesday Night Refuge Bible Study

Refuge All-Youth Bible Study is meeting in-person each Wednesday evening from 6:15-7:15 PM in Main Stage!  After Refuge, there will be a time for fellowship in Common Grounds or the MAC Gym until 8:00 PM.

Be sure to come to Refuge on January 14 to find out your DNow Host Homes and Bible Study Leaders!!

6:15-7:15 PM: Message and Worship in Main Stage

7:15-8:00 PM: Snack in Common Grounds. You can also use the foosball, carpet ball, table tennis, or board games on the third floor. The MAC gym will also be open to students. 

We need adults volunteers to help supervise the gym on Wednesday nights. Please sign up here for as many nights as you can do. Without volunteers, we will not be able to have gym time each week. 

Deeper (Paul & Timothy, Soul Sisters, and Dive In) will resume Sunday, January 11, 2026.  If you want to join our Sunday afternoon discipleship classes, please contact our Student Ministry Assistant, Alyson Davidson, at [email protected].

Youth Choirs will also resume Sunday, January 11 from 5:00-6:00 pm.

Apply for College Scholarships
For graduating high school seniors and current college students

Date:               Applications are OPEN

Deadline:       March 22, 2026

Details:           If you are a graduating senior of the class of 2026 or currently attending college, you can apply to receive scholarship money through our church for the 2026-2027 school year. In order to be considered by the Scholarship committee for scholarships, you must be a church member of FBC Garland. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is Sunday, March 22. There will be no exceptions to the application deadline. The Scholarship Committee will meet in April to consider all applications.

We will meet at the MAC and travel by bus to the conference. We will leave from and return to the MAC on both days. This is NOT an overnight trip. Cost is $65. Limited spots available. Sign up here!

We will be staying at the Melody Lane Christian Renewal Center in Palmview, TX.  With the help of Buckner Family Hope Centers, we will be helping to build homes for families in the valley. This is a rewarding experience, but it is very hot, very hard work.

Super Summer is the premiere leadership training opportunity for students from Texas Baptist churches. Students (from grades 7-12) who have trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and who have a desire to grow in their leadership abilities will benefit from the powerful experiences of Bible study, worship, prayer, fellowship, and leadership development that Super Summer offers. This is an opportunity for our students to join with hundreds of students from other Texas Baptist churches to sharpen our leadership skills in ways that we can put into practice right here in our church and our community!
