For High School Students (grades 9-12): mark your calendars now for Mid-Winter Retreat 2026, Jan. 16-18. It's a weekend getaway at Sunset Bible Camp in Mannford, OK. This retreat (held with nearly 10 other area Youth Groups) is a chance to get away for the weekend from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It provides the opportunity for students to build relationships with each other in addition to strengthening their relationship with God. This years speaker is Mikey Sackrider of CIY
Elements for the weekend include: great worship, awesome messages by Mikey of CIY, time alone with God and Saturday activities like gaga-ball, 9-square, pickleball, etc. And don't forget the optional Polar Bear Plunge (Sat Morning)!

*Mid-Winter 2026 hoodies are available for $18 (They'll look exactly like the left side of the graphic logo: aqua hoodie with bigfoot graphic). If you'd like a soft, comfy sweatshirt be sure to indicate your size preference in the "Add-On" section of the registration page. Must be registered by Dec. 18th to receive a hoodie.
Each student will also need to complete a 2026 Ridge Christian Release Form.
The WKND is an event for Middle School students (grades 6-8) that will take place with other area youth groups on February 27-28. There will be incredible worship and engaging gospel messages throughout the weekend. There will also be late night activities, small group time, and other chances to build relationships and grow in our faith.

Lodging accommodations are as follows:
*Students will be dropped off at The Ridge on Friday Night, Feb. 27 at 6:00. All Students will need to bring an overnight bag with change of clothes, sleeping bag & pillow, and will need to be picked up from The Ridge at 5:00 on Saturday Evening, Feb. 28th.
This Spring Break, plan to join us for our annual Mexico Mission Trip to Acuña, Mexico as we partner with Casas Por Cristo to build a home for a local family in need. The dates are March 16-20 and the cost is $485…(FIY: the cost should be closer to $970, but Ridge Christian Scholarship Fund covers half of it) A $75 deposit is due upon registration. The cost goes up to $535 if not registered by February 1st. This trip is for any Family, Adult or Student (Students must be 9th grade and up; younger than 9th grade can come if accompanied by a parent or guardian).

This Semester (January thru May) the Student Ministry will be doing a Pie-in-the-face Raffle Ticket Fundraiser to help raise money toward Project Next.
The way it will work is each month we will have one Student Ministry Leader & one Student that will be the pie prospects. Students and adults can buy Raffle Tickets each Sunday Morning (between 9:00-9:15) and at the end of the month we will draw a winner to see who gets to pie those people in the face. The "pie-ing" will take place on the last Sunday of the month, after church, in the courtyard area next to The Ridge.
Raffle tickets will be 1 for $5 or 5 for $20, OR you can buy a guarantee pie for $50 which means you are guaranteed to pie one of those people in the face that month. Cash is preferred, but we will take check or Venmo

Chili Cook-off lunch
Join us February 22nd in the Fellowship Hall after the 10:30 service for a Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser Lunch. The lunch will consist of a variety of chilis, Live Auction (items and desserts), and opportunities to vote for "Best Chili." The lunch itself is FREE, the Fundraiser elements will consist of buying tickets to vote for "Best Chili" and the Live Auction Items.
This Fundraiser will help raise money for the Ridge Student Ministry Scholarship Fund for things like MOVE, Camp, Etc. !

July 12 - July 18, 2026 in Cleveland, TN (Lee University), for High School students going into 9th grade through 2026 grads.
Mandatory Student/Parent Meeting June 28th after church. Lunch Provided.
CIY “MOVE” is a 5-day high school event held all over the country designed to amplify the call of Christ on students’ lives to become kingdom workers.
Registration opens at 6 p.m. on December 7th. **The first 12 STUDENTS to register get prizes awarded to them during the MOVE event.** The cost for the trip varies based on the registration date...sign up between December 7th and February 1st for the Super Early Bird rate of $325 (a savings of $155!) A $75.00 non-refundable but transferable deposit is due upon registration.

**If Adult spots aren't filled by current RSM Leaders we will then open it up to other potential Adult Leaders at a later time and create a new "Attendee Type" later if need be. (The cost for a Non-RSM Leader to go to MOVE will be approx. $395).

MDWK is our Student Ministry Wednesday Night Programming for 6th-12th Grade students from 6:00-7:30, and will kick-off Jan. 14, 2026. MDWK will consist of intentional hangout time with some free snacks & the snack bar being open for $1 items, it will also include games, occasional worship, 15-minute message, and small group discussion. (There will be no MDWK March 18 for Spring Break)
Once a month, on the last Wednesday of the month we will also have MDWK+
MDWK+ will be an additional hour (7:30-8:30) after MDWK ends where we will plan something fun for kids to be intentional to invite their friends to. (MDWK+ Dates will be: Jan. 28, Feb. 25, March 25, & April 29)

The Ridge Student Center--Dinner is provided. It's a chance to dive deeper into God's Word that we may not necessarily get to do on a Sunday Morning or Wednesday Night.
Sunday Night Study will Resume Feb. 1 and go until April 26 (NO Study on March 15, 18, & April 5th). February 8th will be a Super Bowl Party for our HS Students at the Mebane's
