We hope you're doing well! March was a busy month with BeYOUtiful, Friend's Night, and our missions meeting! It's so hard to believe that we only have a few months left until the summer! Here's what is going on in April.
April Updates
Check the calendar below for the most pertinent information regarding the events coming up in April. We would also encourage you to print that section off and stick it on your fridge for a quick reference. Here are a few of the highlights.
We are embarking on a new sermon series entitled, "The Gospel Life." This series will challenge students with the definition of the Gospel, how to practically live in the good news of the Gospel, and how that informs our interactions with those around us. We are excited for the practical applications that will come from this time in the word together.
The Silent Auction is coming up! April 23rd we will be taking over the concourse and raising funds for missions trips! We need items in by April 16th so we can fully prepare, so make sure to get those in to Katie or Kenneth. It's going to be an awesome morning!
April 30th is our next Missions Meeting. Just a friendly reminder that these meetings are mandatory for students who are going on trips! If your students cannot attend, please make sure that they follow up with Katie so that we can plan accordingly. Also, make sure they have filled out their handout from the last meeting and memorized their scriptures.
Communication Opportunities
One last tidbit: you may have read this on our Parents Facebook page or through our notes from the Parent Meeting, but if you are not receiving our update texts, please take a moment to text '@gsyparents' to the number 81010 and you will start receiving text updates from us. If you are reading this and aren't a part of the Parent Facebook, please connect with me on Facebook and I'll get you added!
We love having the opportunity to serve you and your families. If there is any way that we can serve you better, please let me know. We would always love to connect with you over the phone or coffee! Never hesitate to reach out!
